I got a note from a little "bird" that suggested I update our blog so here goes. Well we are pretty much doing the same as usual just working and trying to go camping on as many weekends as possible. School is out for Morgan so she is enjoying her summer break by sleeping in but she does still work a few days a week at Sports Clips. She just loves having a job (right) but she does like the paycheck. Next year will be her senior year, wow! where did the time go! She is looking forward to that and at some point driving to school. Brooke is still working for Wing Orthodontics and likes it as much as anyone can like having to work. She is taking classes this summer also at MCC. She has not had a break from school since she graduated from high school she is a school maniac and I am proud to say has a 4.0 since entering college!!! Yep I am bragging!! She still hopes to go away to school in about a year to Hawaii. Blake and Heather are doing good!! Our little love Cash is getting so big, he is so fun we just never get enough of him. Blake's granite business is still doing well and he is very grateful for that. Joel and Amy are still in Wyoming, Joel is working construction this summer, doing well but long hours it sounds like. The lodge that he worked for last winter wants him to come back next winter to groom cause he is so darn good ( do I sound like his mom?). No big vacation plans for the summer just lots of camping and a small camping trip to California for 4 days the end of July. The whole family is going on a trip in October to the Carribean we are very excited and frantically joining the gym and thinking about eating better, HA. Well we will see how that works out. I am so excited cause all of our family is going together even the baby so it should be fun. Kelly is feeling good no problems but he still gets tired easier especially at about 8:00 at night, oh nevermind that is just old age!! So all is well there, he goes back this next month for another PSA check so keep him in your prayers. So there you have it not too much excitement here in AZ but we like it that way.

It has been a while since I have written but life has a way of going by soooo fast. There has been a lot happening at the Jensen homestead. Our little love Cash is doing so good and getting so big it is hard to believe! I am proud to say he has successfully cut 2 yes 2 teeth at 4 months old!! Thats my boy! Making his grandma so proud since I am in the teeth business and yes I will be watching them very closley!! Well being the graceful clodhopper that I am I fell off a chair while painting the wall and dislocated my elbow. We thought it was broken but I had an MRI and CT scan on it and it turns out that the fracture they saw was from when I broke the same elbow in highschool (only a couple years ago). Seems it never reattached the bone so It still looks broken. Well anyway thats good news no cast or surgery just physical therapy yahoo! I have official orders from the doctor to never paint again! (or something like that but I am going with it). Kelly is doing very good. He had his follow up at the doctor a couple weeks ago and all looks good!! So he's back, but very spoiled at this point, the waiting on him hand and foot is really coming back to bite me in the behind!! It is almost like training him all over again lol! The kids are all doing good not much has changed there. Kelly and I are going to the big New York City with our lovely friends the Birds. We are very excited we are going to see 3 broadway shows starting with Wicked I cannot wait. I know the highlight of their trip will be going with us ha ha but we do appreciate them letting us tag along it should be very fun. Blake is in Florida this week on a fishing trip so he was very excited to go we hope he has fun but he is going to miss Heather and Cash, he always does he has become quite attached to that baby and misses him the minute he leaves. They had a big night out last Friday, they went to Blake's best friends birthday party. We babysat Cash and told them not to worry and go have a good time. They got to the party at 9:00, and they were back at our house at 11:45 they both missed him and couldn't wait to come home. Vert sweet and makes me very proud!! Can't say I blame them he is super sweet. I will post pics soon

Whats up

Well I haven't posted in a while but since my big sister Cindy is blogging now I can't let her out do me. Well I'm sure no one is surprised that we have lots of new photos of Cash I wanted to put all 100 of them on here but Brooke stopped me, she said something about being obcessed or some such nonsense! Anyway he is growing and getting cuter every day if that is even possible. I am sure I don't sound like a gushing grandma right? Everyone else is keeping busy with everyday life. Kelly is right back to being as well as ever and has got his spunk back (I'm sure you all know what I mean) can't keep him still for a second. We are going camping and riding the Quads and the razr as much as we can. Blake bought a 5th wheel also so we all went camping last weekend for the 1st time together and had a great time!! Even the girls went this time but it was only because Cash was there (now I know how to get them to go with us). Don't know if mentioned but my ever loving husband bought him self a Harley motorcycle!! Yes thats right I am officially a biker chick now (eeww). Anyway I wasn't too sure at first (can we say mid-life crisis) but I actually enjoy riding on it I think more than he does!! We look pretty goofy a couple of oldies, grandparents that is, riding a Harley. I didn't really fit the profile at first with my fluffy pink jacket, and red and white striped gloves,(we have very limited cold weather gear here so I wear what I got). Well I have since purchased a leather jacket and leather gloves, so now I am a goofy oldie with leather on! Oh well We have enjoyed it. The kids get a kick out of it, they just roll their eyes. Blake said he didn't think we should be riding a motorcycle, something could happen to us and it wasn"t very safe. Funny that is just what I have told him for years!! Now it is their turn to worry and I kinda like it in a sick way payback is heck ya know!!! Our jobs are good for now but in this economy we feel so fortunate to still have them. After the past few months we are really wanting to live to the fullest which is what we should all do anyway. Would love to read new blogs from any of you out there. Watch out though you will get hooked. It is fun.

BACK TO WORK!!!!
Well Kelly went back to work today. I am hoping he will only work part of the day for a while until he gets back in to the swing of things. He seems to get tired a lot easier I guess he just has to build up to be strong again. We cheered on our Cardinals in the superbowl yesterday and we are still in mourning from the loss! We had a little get together with our family and some friends. We managed to eat away our sorrow though with lots of good food. Now that Kelly has all his "tubes" out we are really looking forward to going camping and riding again really soon. Our little sweetie pie Cash is doing great and growing big (he wanted the Cardinals to win also) he even cried quite a bit yesterday when they lost! Everyone else is doing good we are all busy with work and school. Brooke is still working at Dr. Wing's orthodontic office (takes after her mama) and going to MCC and getting straight A's I have to brag a bit. Morgan is going to school getting good grades (if we don't count her math class) and working at Sport Clips as a receptionist and they just love her she is s great worker. Blake is doing well in his granite business keeping busy and we are all so grateful in this economy. Heather is busy being a new mommy and a great one at that, she enjoys every second taking care of our sweet Cash. She has done such a great job. Joel is in Wyoming and has turned into quite the mountain man. Grooming trails etc.. for Togowtee (spelling) lodge and riding his snowmobile in his spare time. He and Amy are living at Lava Mountain Lodge where she works and does quite well we hear. She is a very good cook and that is good because Joel always made that a requirement of his "wife" or girlfriend. Well that is the scoop on the fam . I really would love to have all the family with blogs so we can keep updated with everyone it is fun and easy (hint hint).

Joel's Toy

This is what Joel drives everyday as he grooms the slopes around the resort he works at in Wyoming. Loves his job!

Blake's Birthday Party

We had a Birthday Party for Blake's 22nd Birthday and didn't have enough candles, so we said let's divide the years by 2 and use 11. Makes sense right? Not really.... Improvise!

Family Update

We are all doing good but Kelly's recovery is taking longer than we thought. Kelly will have to be off work until early Feb. The doctor started him on an antibiotic for infection he has had a fever for about a week at one point it was 102.6 which is scary. The doctor is now calling daily to check on him which makes me feel better because we don't really know what is normal and what isn't. We are trying to keep his spirits up cause if you know Kelly you know being sick and staying at home in the chair is pretty much torture for him. Any calls or emails help a lot! We are babysitting Cash tonight so we are excited and that always makes all of us feel better. Blake and Heather brought Kelly about 6 movies complete with the popcorn, candy and soda to help pass the time, but so far he claims to be too busy during the day to watch any of them. I am not sure how he ever had time to go to work! We have had our trees trimmed and the pool worked on and it takes a lot of his time to direct the workers around! We hope you will all pray for him and we continue to do the same! He is too stubborn to be sick for long! I am trying to get some more pics of the baby. He loves to sit on grandpa's lap so we have lots of those pics!
